A design hotel of a special kind: The aenea
Since June 2003, the wellness hotel aenea offers its guests from all over the world an impressive architecture, sophisticated interior design, magnificent landscapes and unique service. For the staff of the hotels is at your disposal 24 hours a day, matching the hotels credo: There is no preset hotel rhythm. The property of the aenea is huge and offers a multitude of facilities, including a wellness center, meeting rooms, a sea pavilion, a private beach and the aeneas own marina. And at the restaurant aenea, Chef George Kittner spoils his guests with high-class Austrian cuisine featuring a Mediterranean flair.

Luxury suites at the wellness hotel aenea
Spread on three levels, the design hotel aenea offers 15 suites on the highest standard. The architects set great value upon the optic permeability of the buildings structure, enabling every suite to offer an unobstructed view on the peninsula Maria Wörth and the Villacher Alps. The suites differ in size between 55 sqm and 75 sqm and offer a comfortable living atmosphere with demanding luxury. The interior for the sleeping and living areas, for example, was created by the Italian star designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. And, of course, all suites include a flat screen TV and internet access.

Design and architecture in perfection
Central element of the architectural arrangement and design at the luxury hotel is the contrast between bright and dark colour-shades. By concentrating on this singular element, combined with clear lines and planes, the design at the hotel aenea caters a minimalist, but none the less elegant design. The contrast between dark and bright was realized using the colours black and white within the architectural structure and using bright tones of white and dark wood in the interior. Harmonizing extremely well with the hotels concept, the furniture and armaments were designed by star designers Rodolfo Dordini (living and sleeping area) and Philippe Starck (bathroom), continuing the hotels theme throughout the suites.

The wellness area at the aenea is no less impressive. The spacious beauty and relax area offers an enchanting view on the Wörthersee, owing to a continuous glass front. Here you can relax on the sun terrace, in the Finnish sauna, in the aroma-steam-bath or the solarium, making the wellness hotel Aenea an oasis for all your senses. Atmospheric lighting creates a private and intimate ambience and comforting harmony. The heated swimming pool is surrounded by fitness and massage rooms on one side. And, using the panorama elevator, you can easily reach the hotels sea pavilion including beach, sea lounge, sea sauna and beach bar at the Wörthersee.
